Fresh from our Christmas break we are excited to launch our first Nicer Tuesdays of 2016, kicking off an exciting year of presentations by the most inspiring and thought provoking creatives from across the world.

This month we will be hearing from Marina Willer, partner at Pentagram. Marina joined the distinguished agency in 2013 becoming London’s first female partner having spent 13 years at Wolff Olins. Marina will be talking about her projectRed Trees, a documentary about her family surviving the Nazi occupation of Prague and fleeing to Brazil.

Also speaking will be photographerCharlie Kwai, who recently featured as part of ourOnes to Watch 2016. Charlie has recently returned from Ghana where he has spent time photographing the country’s street culture with his collective Tripod City, in which he collaborates with photographers Paul Storrie and Chris Lee.

We will hear from Kevin King asSecret 7”returns for a fifth year. The project takes some of the best-known songs and asks creatives to design record sleeves which are then printed on special edition vinyl. A run of 700 is exhibited and then sold, with all of the money made being donated to Amnesty international.

Taking to the lectern that they have very kindly created for us, our final speakers are set designers Isabel and Helen. The London based duo, like Charlie Kwai, featured on our Ones to Watch list for 2016 and will be talking about their projects for the likes of Selfridges and London Design Festival.
