Bianca Beneduci Assadis a Brazilian illustrator and animator based in London. Her work is defined by bold colour, character-driven storytelling, and a humorous perspective on emotion and everyday experience. Specialising in 2D animation, her charming cartoons touch on everyday anxieties,“huge feelings”, and human experiences that are as political as they are vibrant. Bianca will be taking us through her process of using humour in personal work to face up against the mounting difficulties of being an artist in the modern illustration industry.

After the sold-out success of our Nicer Tuesdays in September, with Anthony Burrill, An Chen, and Fieldwork Facility, we are doubling down with an exciting new line-up. Join us on 7 October at EartH Hackney for our next Nicer Tuesdays in London for another selection of brilliant creatives.
At next month’s event, you can expect talks from Bianca Beneduci Assad, a Brazilian illustrator and animator based in London whose work is driven by bold colour and character-driven storytelling, andGay Times, the leading LGBTQ+ media brand at the intersection of culture, representation, and community. Following our talks for the evening, Pentagram’s newest partner Hugh Miller will be talking to the stage for a Q&A with It’s Nice That about his bold approaches to identity and how he explores clarity, energy, and new perspectives in design.
Make sure to get down to the event at 6pm when the doors open to have the chance to grab a drink and snack from our sponsors El Rayo Tequila and Lovecorn, then the talks will begin at 7.15pm. Alongside our sponsors this month, there will be a musical accompaniment from Epidemic Sound, who will be curating the soundtrack for the evening and will also have a booth where attendees can listen to their catalog and take home some merch.
The event will take place on Tuesday 7th October at EartH in Hackney. Doors will open at 6:30 pm and the talks will begin around 7pm. The full address is EartH, 11-17 Stoke Newington Rd, London N16 8BH. It’s a seated event, so get there early to ensure a seat and pick up a drink beforehand!

Hugh Milleris Pentagram’s newest partner at their London offices and the designer and art director will be following hisinterview on It’s Nice Thatwith a Q&A, talking about his renowned design work that centralises clarity and material subtlety. As a self-described magpie, Hugh’s work takes influence from architecture, music, film direction, and even food. The designer will reveal more about his process and how he approaches the junction between "intellectual clarity and emotional charge”.
